Define the isolation duty

Confirm whether the switch is used for routine parking isolation, maintenance safety, emergency disconnection or body-equipment control. The application influences current duty, mounting and access requirements.

Compare electrical and mechanical details

Review continuous and short-duration current requirements with the nominal system voltage. Then compare terminal size, mounting dimensions, key or lever operation and environmental exposure.

  • 12V or 24V system

  • Continuous and intermittent current

  • Terminal type and cable size

  • Panel or surface mounting

  • Key, lever or rotary operation

Confirm the exact order reference

Agree the switch model, accessories, labels and packaging before production. Battery switches that appear interchangeable can differ in terminal orientation and mounting footprint.
