Why the product photo is not enough
Two truck window switches can share the same front shape while using different connectors, pin functions or vehicle-generation logic. A visual match is useful for narrowing the search, but it should not be the final purchasing reference.
Build the identification reference
Start with the vehicle and then move toward the component. Record the truck brand, model or series, production year, left- or right-hand installation position and every OE number visible on the original part.
Truck brand and vehicle series
Production year or generation
OE number and supplier number
Front, rear and connector photographs
Driver-side or passenger-side position
Confirm before repeat ordering
Compare the connector keying, number of pins, button layout and operating functions against the approved sample. Keep the confirmed OE cross-reference connected to the PIRANA model so the next order does not restart from a photograph.
